A Day
At Gymnastics!
I go to gymnastics every Tuesday, Thursday,
and Saturday. I go for 2 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays but on Saturdays its
for 3 hours, well isn’t that long.
Before I leave to go to gymnastics, Sometimes
I take a nap. Then put my hair in a bun. Next, I get dressed and stretch, Eat a
quick snack and leave.
When I arrive I place my belongings
inside of my locker and head to the floor to stretch with my team, we stretch
our back, wrist, and ankles and more. Then we go to the beam and do partner
handstands and bridge walks. Once we’re done we do running for about 5 minutes.
Then we do high knees, back kicks, front kicks, rebounds, and a ton more.
Sometimes we do races, which is fun as well.
Then we start practice! Yay! first we either go on beam, bars, or vault but
after one of those we do floor. On beam we do routines, which include
handstands, split jumps, half turns, and side handstand as a dismount. On bars
we do a pullover, cast, cast backhip circle, then cast squat on straight jump
off the bar. Sounds confusing but so fun. Then handstand-flat-back on vault.
Last
but not least, we do round-off back handspring full turn split leap and
handstand forward roll cartwheel.
Then once we have all of the events done
we start on conditioning we do lunges, frog jumps, pushups, v-ups, 2 rope
climbs without legs, candle stick straight jump, and a couple of other things.
Sometimes it can be really difficult. But you always need to push yourself to
do anything!
Then I head home and take a shower.
Once I’m finished with the shower I eat dinner. Watch Netflix and fall asleep.
